When Help Is Needed — But Not Always Accepted

A regular client called me one day. She asked if I could help her colleague’s daughter — a young girl suffering from leukemia, with a relapse.

Before anything else, she gave me a heads-up.
“The family is very strong Christian. The husband… is completely against Feng Shui.”

A few minutes later, the mother called me directly. Her voice… you could hear it. Tired. Worried. Torn.

She explained the situation briefly, then asked about my charges. When I told her, there was a pause. She said softly,
“All our savings have gone into treatment… I don’t think we can afford it.”

I told her, “Just give me the address. Don’t worry about the charges. Give me a day.”

The next day, I went down to the flat at Yishun Ring Road. I didn’t go into the house. I didn’t even call her. From outside, I took the facing, observed the surroundings, and walked the block.

Later, I purchased the floor plan and ran a full audit.

The chart didn’t fly well. It was one of those draining charts — the kind that doesn’t show immediately, but slowly wears the family down over time.

Then I saw the key issue.

One of the bedrooms — beside the master — had a combination of Base Star 7, with Water Star 5 and Mountain Star 2. In simple terms: sickness, weakness, misfortune.

I didn’t call the mother. Instead, I spoke to the client who referred me.

I told her, “Most likely, the daughter is sleeping in that room.”

She checked. I was right.

I gave one instruction, very clearly: “No matter what, move her out of that room.” If needed, let her share with the older brother.

I also suggested a few simple remedies — nothing complicated. And I added one more thing: “If they are ready one day… they should consider moving.”

Three months later, my client asked me out for coffee. We met at Starbucks.

She passed me a small red packet.
“This is from her. Just a small token.”

Then she handed me a butter cake.
“Her friend baked this.”

I didn’t ask what happened after.

Sometimes, you don’t need to.

What This House Revealed

Not every client is ready. Not every situation allows full intervention.

But when something is affecting the home, even a small change can matter.

This was never about belief. It was about observing what others cannot see, acting where it still can be changed, and helping… even when no one is asking properly.

Because sometimes, the work is not in being recognised.

It’s simply in doing what is right.
